Who should attend?
The course content is aimed at providing parents, club officials and players with an understanding of most of the key laws of cricket.

The objective of this course is to teach the rudiments of the Laws of cricket that will help people of all abilities to have the confidence to be able to enjoy the game more and to feel confident to stand as an umpire in a cricket match.

There is no prerequisite knowledge needed although any that is held will determine the pace at which the tutor will be able to move through the course content.

The role and responsibilities of the Umpire before and during a match
Signalling and working with Scorers
The Boundary, markings, runs allowed, overthrows,
Understanding the key Laws
Managing the match
Dismissals
Understanding the ECB Fast Bowling Directives
Fair and Unfair play
