After the weather affected match over the Easter weekend the Middlesex one-day match on Tuesday faired much better and featured powerplays and fielding circles.

Middlesex batted first and used their 50 overs to amass 239 for 6. Mitchell Stokes being the best of the Berkshire bowlers finishing with 3 wickets for a miserly 36.

Berkshire chased down the total to close at 240 for 2.

M D Bates added to his previous innings with an excellent 55 n.o. and shared the winning third wicket partnership of 181 with J J McLean (124 n.o.) with overs to spare.
