ECB Transfers CRB applications to TMG

With effect from the 1st October 2008 the ECB has been transferring responsibility for CRB Disclosure Application Forms from in house to an external company – TMG CRB, who now undertake this on behalf of the ECB.

If you have a query relating to:

  • requesting ECB CRB Disclosure Application Forms
  • completing the ECB CRB application form
  • following up on its progress of an application or
  • informing of a change of address or contact numbers,

please contact TMG CRB – 0115 969 4603 or email ecb@tmgcrb.co.uk or go to www.tmgcrb.co.uk/cricket

Once the CRB Application Form is completed the form should be sent to:

ECB TMG CRB
1 Wilford Business Park
Ruddington Lane
Nottingham
NG 11 7EP

Old ECB forms

Please note than from January 2009, ECB will no longer accept any ECB CRB application forms to process. They will be returned to the applicant informing them to re-submit their application on a TMG CRB Form.

The only ECB forms, which will be accepted and processed, will be ongoing returned forms received and returned to the applicant to be amended prior to the changeover to TMG. Old Forms held by clubs should therefore be destroyed.

Definition of a Volunteer

The CRB defines a volunteer to be a person who performs any activity which involves spending time, unpaid (except for travelling and other approved out-of-pocket expenses) doing something which aims to benefit someone (individual or groups) other than or in addition to close relatives.
