Sky Sports Coach EducationDuring the winter of 2013, Berkshire Cricket offered a wide ranging Coach Education programme, in conjunction with the Berkshire Cricket Coaches Association.  This saw 39 candidates attend and complete the Level One 'Coach Assistant' as well as 36 candidates undertake the Level Two Coach Award course. There were also 23 coaches who attended the 'Coach Development Workshops'. Several Cricket Young Leaders courses were also held in conjunction with School Sport Partnerships, with many of the attendees now going on to help out with the running of local Kwik Cricket Festivals.

All coaches are strongly recommended to join the ECB Coaches Association. Benefits of joining the ECBCA. Membership costs just £30 if paying by Direct Debit and will qualify candidates for the reduced course fee. If you apply for membership at the same time as booking onto one of our courses you also qualify for the reduced course fee. To join please fill out the membership form. Once you have completed the form, please send to Tom Russell, Berkshire Cricket, Newbury College, Monks Lane, Newbury, RG14 7TD. If you can't complete all the form, don't worry fill out as much as you can. Do not send to the ECB Coaches Association @ Warwickshire County Cricket Ground direct.

All coaches must also attend an Essential First Aid Course and a Safeguarding & Protecting Children Course as part of the qualifcation. Existing coaches must ensure they have attended both of these courses within the last 3 years to keep their qualication up to date. These courses cost £30 each.
