2013 sees the 10th season of Berkshire District cricket.

District cricket was introduced as an intermediate or development step for young cricketers, allowing them to graduate to county cricket and bridging the gap between club/school and county.  There are four Districts in Berkshire: East Berkshire, Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham & Bracknell, with District squads running at U13 and U15 age groups.

Whilst each year, a number of boys move on to full Berkshire county squads, District cricket has developed a life of its own as well – the league competitions are hotly contested at both age groups, and District managers and coaches are being encouraged to extend the fixture lists for all teams.

Listed below are the league winners for each year since District cricket was instituted in Berkshire and 2013 will be a very special year for all those boys involved.
